Operating funds for the library come directly from the taxpayers of
Guilford. No other towns, nor the state, provide any money for the
library. We welcome patrons from surrounding towns. There is a $20 per
year/per family fee for out-of-town patrons. All children in SAD #4
schools receive a free library card. The library holds fund raisers
periodically to purchase special materials and programs.

The library grounds are an outstanding example of what volunteer
support can accomplish. Our landscaping is spectacular.

Donations are always welcome and we encourage families to consider
donations in memory of loved ones.

The library is especially proud of our new Endowment fund started in
2005 and maintained by the Maine Community Foundation.
